ENDLESSITY is an exploration of digital liminality, memory loops, and the dreamlike fluidity of online existence. Blurring the boundaries between AI-generated visuals, secret rave footage, and fragmented personal archives, the film constructs a space where presence and absence coexist, and identity is both hyper-visible and dissolving.
Through the lens of her avatar L00bi, Ruby Bailey navigates a speculative world shaped by technology, nostalgia, and the infinite scroll of contemporary life. Aestheticized digital landscapes echo throughout the film, acting as both playground and purgatory, capturing the melancholic allure of cyberspace.
Premiering as part of Open Secret, a curated offsite event by Dana Dawud, ENDLESSITY invites viewers to question the nature of reality in an era where the physical and virtual endlessly merge.
Loobtopia
LOOBTOPIA is a hyper-curated, ultra-online fever dream—a world where identity is a product, performance is ritual, and the internet is both mirror and mask. Blending self-mythology, digital femininity, and the aesthetics of hyper-visibility, the film explores what it means to exist as an avatar, a brand, a consumable entity.
Through L00bi, her ever-shifting Sim-inspired alter ego, Ruby Bailey inhabits the contradictions of online existence—the It-girl, the anime girl, the club girl, the pixelated ghost. The film loops through ritualized selfies, synthetic paradise, and the narcotic pull of aesthetic perfection, questioning the tension between self-expression and self-erasure in the algorithmic age.
Presented on Metalabel, LOOBTOPIA captures the endless playplayplay, rotrotrot of internet spectacle, where identity is never fixed, but always performing.
